Flashbacks

So I wanted to share something beautiful that one of my recent students wrote on her blog!! Emily Harris is an awesome talented photographer that recently joined my classes here at my new dance Academy in Pembroke Pines. I thought I had just met her in my level 1 class. The funny thing was that it seems that we had already met long time ago, and we didn't even know it :) Read Below:

I’ve recently began taking belly dancing classes at Dreams Bellydance Academy with Nathalie Zarate. I thought that it would be a fun thing to learn before my wedding in October 2010. It has been such a fun experience! Nathalie is super talented, and a fantastic instructor. Seeing that I literally have no rhythm, Nathalie says I am making great progress. I highly recommend Dreams Bellydance Academy to all brides-to-be.

So the point of this blog entry is that at last night’s class something clicked, besides my hips and finger symbols. I finally realized why Nathalie always seemed so familiar. I flashed back to a wedding that I shot early last year at the Rusty Pelican where a belly dancer performed. I remember this performance so vividly because it was during that performance I decided that one day I would take belly dancing classes. This morning, I looked back though my archives, and surely enough Nathalie was the one performing at the wedding. What a small world, although maybe not so small seeing that Nathalie is the best in South Florida.
